Safety is vital to our operation and integral to the Cabin Crew role. To fully equip you with the knowledge and understanding of the general procedures and theory behind airline safety for the role of Mixed Fleet Cabin Crew, you will be required to obtain a Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA) before you can commence employment with British Airways. This is an EASA recognised certificate of professional competency which permits you to discharge the duties of Cabin Crew on European Community registered aircraft. Your CCA will be valid for 5 years, however, if you join British Airways as Cabin Crew, this will be revalidated annually as part of your British Airways Cabin Crew Training.

If, following your successful attainment of your CCA, you join British Airways as Cabin Crew, you will be required to commence the British Airways New Entrant Training at our state of the art training facility.

We also offer the opportunity for people who hold a valid EASA attestation to commence the British Airways New Entrant Training without having to undertake the CCA training again.
