You will be a vital part of the team that is responsible for the delivery of the operational performance at the Heathrow Terminals. Working with the Maintenance Control Centre (MCC) to create an achievable plan.
A technical background will be vital for setting direction, making decision and finding solutions to challenging technical defects in a pressurised environment, working with our production engineers to deliver for our customers.
In significant aircraft disruption you will be expected to be at the aircraft to communicate with key stakeholders including the airport control centre, command and control and MCC.
British Airways operates 24/7 with various shift patterns to fit the operational day. This role is ideally suited to an experienced aircraft engineer who aspires to move into a leadership role. The role is a key position within the Operational Maintenance organisation contributing to the delivery of operational excellence.
