Developing, implementing and evaluating global PR campaigns that deliver positive media coverage, promote commercial initiatives and drive positive brand awareness across the globe is no easy task. Providing strategic advice and direction and managing proactive Global PR campaigns is just one of the many responsibilities you’ll have. You’ll also make sure that the content and approach we take is customer and cross-market focussed and drives forward our business goals. Managing relationships with internal stakeholders, external agencies and consumer, news and features’ journalists in the UK and overseas will be key. And, when it comes to working with business areas like catering, product, brand or commercial to maximise news opportunities and generate relevant stories, it's you we’ll rely on.
A natural at media relations, your recent and developing experience will have been gained in a communications department and/or PR agency where you planned and implemented PR programmes. A proven ability to develop coalitions with other functions or departments, handle a busy workload and effectively manage more than one task at a time is important too. Enthusiastic, with lots of creative flair, you’re flexible but resilient too. What's more, you have the confidence to both challenge, and provide advice to, senior management and the tact and discretion to handle highly confidential information.
