It's not every day you get the opportunity to join a team that keeps more than 40,000 employees around the world up-to-date with developments within their business. But, with our British Airways internal communications team facing growing responsibility for communicating a new business strategy, we’ve created the brand new role of Graphic Designer within our in-house design studio. So, if you fancy helping to produce a broad range of internal communications for a £multi-billion global business, here's your chance.
You’ll have responsibility for the design and production activities that support the airline’s multi-media channels. What that means is, you’ll get to design, create and produce the array of visual content for online, print, digital and social media/collaboration platforms that informs and engages our colleagues worldwide. One day you might be helping to produce a corporate video, the next, creating dynamic presentation content or liaising with suppliers like printers, event management companies or creative agencies. What’s for certain is, you won’t be short of interest, challenge or variety.
It goes without saying you’ll need excellent graphic design skills across a range of media channels and you know your way around social media too. Experience gained in a similar role at a large company, publishing house or design agency is also a given, as is a proven ability to produce visually appealing content using the latest technology and software. You’ll be great at multi-tasking and calm under pressure. And, if you have layout and production experience and are used to working with printers and external agencies, you’re just the person we’re looking for.
As well as a competitive salary, you can look forward to a Total Reward package. Benefits range from competitive pensions and discounted shopping to the opportunity to travel the world as part of Staff Travel.
*N.B. The role could become permanent or extended at the end of 12 months. If this role isn't perfect for you, have a look at the other exciting opportunities within the Communications team currently being advertised.
